Welcome to CRASA

CRASA is a Grassroots level Non-Profit organization working for the development of poor and needy people in coastal villages of Andhra Pradesh, India since 1998. CRASA was started by a team of Volunteers to deal the problems in education and developmental issues of the marginalized people, with a holistic people centered approach to buildup sustainable communities.

History

CRASA is initiated by the 9 self motivated volunteers, who responded to the cyclone relief in 1998. After completion of relief initiatives they have asses their services and what extent they got satisfaction in helping the neighbors. With that motto to help more needy and deserving sections the organization was initiated in December 1998. crasa facilitate to empowerment of Socio-economic under privileged communities by organizing and capacitating them for their fullest development.

Our Vision

CRASA visualize a just, peaceful, equity, justice, society which respects human dignity, rights, gender equality and it envisages a society where the poor and marginalized and under privileged have equal opportunity for their development. Which is a value based and sustainable with a healthy environment.

Our Mission

CRASA actively supports and works towards a just and peace society by creating a meaningful space to work towards promotion of capacities for people organizations and institutions in development process which involve networking of the organizations at various levels. CRASA also response to human suffering and distress caused by natural or man made disasters. CRASA strives to optimize to all potential, friendship, cooperation, interaction with reference communities and partner organizations.

Objectives

Strengthening of community based organizations
Child labour - Identifying working children, rehabilitating and mainstreaming them in to regular schools
Vocational training and education - Providing training in employability skills to adolescents
Women empowerment - Empowering women through training and financial aid through financial institutions for the creation of small business and income generation activities
